Three Attitudes that will make you Rich!

“Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.”  –  Wayne Dyer

You were born Rich, everything you needed for your survival and growth was provided for you by God before you arrived on this planet. You have riches beyond the limited beliefs that have been programmed into your mind by society.  If you change those beliefs you can awaken to the true wealth that is your birthright right now!

“Poverty is a form of hell caused by man’s blindness to God’s unlimited good for him. You should be prosperous, well supplied and have abundance of good because it is your divine heritage. Your creator wants you that way.”  – Catherine Ponder

Here are three attitudes that will help you eliminate your limiting beliefs about wealth and abundance and instantly reveal the riches that you already possess.

1 – Develop the Attitude of appreciation for all that you have and all that you experience.

Whatever you believe about yourself, your world, other people or even God becomes your truth. The undeniable truth is that your life is yours alone and you can make it a heaven or hell depending on how you choose think about it and what you choose to do.

When something appreciates it increases in value and is worth more. A home, a stock, bond or investment portfolio are just a couple of examples. This is also true for anything in your life. You can appreciate a person, thing or circumstance by finding something good in them and focusing on that good.  The more good you uncover the more you will appreciate it and the more value it has to you.

2 – Develop the Attitude that you are blessed.

Make a habit of counting  your blessings every day. You can do this by keeping a gratitude journal and starting you day writing down all the things you are thankful for. This is a technique used by Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins, Rhonda Byrnes and many other rich and famous leaders and celebrities.

Another daily practice is to have a ritual of meditating on or saying prayers or affirmations of thanksgiving. I have use these techniques in various combinations all of my adult life and this allows me to have the experience of wealth and abundance regardless of the economy or the balance in my bank account. Those things are temporary and constantly changing but the abundance of the universe is unlimited and the power of the awakened self is indestructible.

3 – Develop the Attitude that your greatest wealth is your unique personality, talent and abilities.

You were born a unique, one of a kind individual. There is no one else on this planet exactly like you. To be one of a kind makes something very rare and valuable.  Is that how you see yourself?  If not you should! You have your own unique set of interests, talents, skills and abilities and when you combine them with your unique personality your are being the person God intended you to be and opening the door to your true riches,  happiness and fulfillment in life.

Realize that as a unique, one of a kind individual no one else can do what you do the same as you. and if you can’t be successful being yourself you will certainly fail trying to be someone else!

“You can choose to live this day in lack or abundance, it’s your choice, but for me I choose The Abundant Day!”

Today is the day to start living Abundantly!

“This is a day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!” – Psalm 118:24

The theme of this blog is The Abundant Day.  Living every day in joy and gratitude. This is my idea of Abundant Living and this is the day to live abundantly.

Today is the only day that you have, this moment in time is the only time that you own. How will you use this precious gift of Life? Will you focus on what you don’t have or the hurts and pain of the past or will you open your eyes to all the wealth and abundance that surrounds you and all that you have been blessed with.

What we experience in life is more a matter of choice than chance. What we choose to focus on is what we experience and what we experience is what our lives are made of.

Although we live in a material world the value of material things is determined by our perception of them. Remember when you were a child and received $10 or $20 dollars to spend. Remember how rich that made you feel?

Fast forward to adulthood and getting a paycheck of hundreds or thousands of dollars and yet feeling “this is not enough”. Whats the difference, is it the amount or your perception of it’s value?

Every day you have the choice of finding things to be grateful for or focusing on what you lack. You can choose to live this day focusing on thoughts of poverty or you can make this a day filled with Abundance by focusing on all the good that you have been blessed with.

You can choose to live this day in lack or abundance, it’s your choice, but for me I choose The Abundant Day!
